iPhone 5 camera lens will be supplied to Apple by Largan Precision and Genius Electronic Optical, according to Taiwan Economic News.
Back in may only Largan Precision was supposed to be the only lens supplier of this 8 megapixel camera lens but now a new report says that,
“The two companies are reported to continue supplying lenses for Apple’s newest iPhone 5 with an 8-megapixel camera. With relatively higher production yield, Largan, commanding nearly 20% of the global market, will reportedly garner a big order from Apple.”
Largan Precision currently owns three factories in Taiwan, two in China, and is know as one of the world’s major players in plastic aspherical lens design and production. LARGAN’s products are widely distributed in the world; product lines include but not limited in lens for mobile phone, NB/laptop, tablet, automobile, and digital camera (DSC).
Where as Genius Electronic Optical Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of lenses. he Company’s major products include mobile lens, digital still camera (DSC) lens and personal computer (PC) camera lens, light emitting diode (LED) lens, projector lens, iatrical lens and car lens.
Both of the companies are expecting to receive orders soon by Apple. And we are looking forward to iPhone 5 and its 8 megapixel camera.
