Today, Adobe has officially released the two new updates for Android smartphones and tablets. Beside the release of Flash Player 11, Adobe has also finally released the new version of Adobe Adobe AIR 3.0.0.408 includes new features as well as enhancements and bug fixes related to security, stability, performance and device compatibility.
Adobe AIR enables you to have your favorite web apps with you all the time. AIR apps run on your device without a browser, providing the convenience of a native app.
Adobe Air 3 brings support for speaker control and more color depth, as well as better file compression support and more secure streaming to keep Hollywood and the record labels happy. It also includes Stage 3D, an architecture that enables hardware-accelerated rendering at 1000x the speed of Flash Player 10. Here is outlined list of some more features of new version.
The Download size of AIR is compressed to 8.3MB and after installation, it is uncompressed to 24.4MB on the device. You also have the option to move Adobe AIR to the SD Card. The amount of data that can be moved is dependent on your OS version. The Adobe AIR 3 is available for download through Android Market for free.
