In this version 1.3, Apple TV 2G owners will get an additional option that will automatically save or backup firmware files of your current iOS (Software Update) firmware signatures. Followed feature will also be included in the upcoming version of Seas0nPass (jailbreak utility tool for Apple TV devices) that will allow you to restore to the respective firmware of your choosing with just over a single click.
For those don’t know, SHSH Blobs are those signatures files that enables you to downgrade you device to the previous iOS firmware. For example, if you’re currently using iOS 5.0.1 on your Apple TV and have saved SHSH Blobs of iOS 5.0.1 firmware then in future if you ever upgrade your device to the newer iOS firmware and didn’t like it or you find that newer iOS firmware jailbreak is not available then you can easily downgrade your device to the previous iOS firmware with the help of saved SHSH blobs signature files.
