Upcoming iPad 3 to Have Retina Display, Quad-Core A6, 4G LTE (Rumor)
Previously we have reported that Apple will be announcing its next generation iPad dubbed as iPad 3 or iPad 2S on March 7th but there was no more information apart from its release date. The site iMore claimed in a report that iPad 3 will be featured with Quad-Core A6 processor, Retina Display with 2048×1536 resolution size and 4G LTE technology.
Apple has launched its Retina display supported devices which includes iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G but second-generation iPad models known as iPad 2 was not supportable with Retina display resolution.
The site claimed that Apple is ready to release iPad 3 or iPad 2S on Wednesday March 7th in an event which already had been rumored by several sources but in this new report as we have already mentioned above will feature with Quad-Core A6 processor, 4G LTE chip-set and supported with Retina display.
According to sources who have been reliable in the past, Apple currently plans to hold their iPad 3 announcement on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Along with the 2048×1536 Retina display, the iPad 3 will feature a quad-core Apple A6 system-on-a-chip, and possibly 4G LTE networking.
The March 7 date fits with what AllThingsD reported last week, about the next iPad event being scheduled for the first week of March, and Wednesday is a traditional day for Apple to hold these types of events.
Unfortunately there is no confirmation from the officials yet on its features and public released date.
